Falling down is not defeat

Once I went through these words - "Falling down is not defeat. Defeat is when you refuse to get up." So very true and so nicely observed. Yes, life is all about falling down and getting up. Again and again and again. But really we have the power and choice to get up again and to shout with courage and conviction - "I'm always bigger and better than you." Brings me to one of the best movies I've ever seen. Yes, it's Rocky Balboa. In a heart touching moment, Rocky teaches his son the meaning of life -

"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very rough, mean place, and no matter how tough you think you are, it will always bring you to your knees, and keep you there, permanently, if you let it. You or nobody ain't never gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. If you know what you're worth, go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit."

Yes, anything can happen to us. Curves throwing is nature's part. But we can do our part to respond in the way we want. Choice is up to us. To repent or to do our part to make things better.
